Returns and Refunds

Recommerce IT offer a 14-day, no hassle, money back guarantee. 

Recommerce IT offers a 14-day right to return in case you change your mind or are not 100% satisfied with the device you purchased. You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your device. 

Returns Policy

Please contact our customer service team on Tel: 0161 928 1144 or email us at customerservices@recommerceit.co.uk with your order number within the returns period, and we will issue you with a ‘Return Material Authorisation’ (RMA) number and form so that you can return the device to us.

  • Fill in the RMA form outlining your reason(s) for requesting a return and insert it inside the package. Make sure that the package is marked with your RMA number.            
    We regret that any returns received without an RMA number will not be accepted
  • Repack the device back into its original packaging or in a secure package.
  • If you are returning your device within the 14-day return period, use the DPD shipping label provided in your package.
  • If you are returning your device outside of the 14-day return period, you will receive your DPD shipping label from us via email. You must print this label.
  • Schedule a pickup with DPD.
  • DPD will collect the package at the agreed date and time.
  • Contact us to confirm your package has been collected by DPD.
  • Once we receive your device, we will review it, then proceed to either refund or replace your order depending on your request.

You will be refunded in full for the cost of your order; but you are responsible for the cost of returning the item back to us.

Refunds Policy
  • We will process the refund when we have proof that the items have been sent back by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. 
  • From the day we receive your device at our facilities, it may take up to 5 business days for the refund to reach your bank account.
  • Returns will be re-credited to your credit card or original method of payment that was used for the original purchase.

Recommerce IT have made online buying a secure and easy way to pay for your IT device by offering you the following payment methods:
Credit or Debit Cards

We accept payments from customers credit and debit cards, Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, Maestro and Delta. We will only deliver to the registered cardholder’s address. Please be aware that you must be able to verify that you are the registered card holder and that all the details are correct. You may be asked to provide your security pin during checkout – depending on the requirement of your card issuer. 

Secure payments are powered by Stripe a complete, secure payments platform set up to accept payments & send pay-outs, online.

PLEASE NOTE: We only accept UK Credit & Debit cards.Cards from any other country will be declined and any costs associated will be your responsibility to pay. Please choose an alternative payment method, such as Bank Transfer.

PayPal is one of the most secure ways to shop online and we are happy to deliver to any address provided by PayPal which makes ordering to alternative addresses quick and easy.

Bank/Online Transfer  

A lot more customers find this option a simple way to manage their finances as we can despatch to any address and transfers usually hit within 1-2 hours (some banks do vary). If you wish to pay via online transfer just select ‘Bank Transfer’ at the checkout.  

PLEASE NOTE: Stock is not secured until we receive the cleared funds in our account if we have not received funds within five working days of order placement then your order will be cancelled.

All Recommerce IT refurbished products have passed our stringent testing procedures to ensure we deliver every customer an enjoyable out or the box experience.  

We believe it is our responsibility to recognise the need for conscious shopping so by deciding to purchase a Recommerce IT refurbished product not only are you saving money but making a sustainable choice to reduce your carbon footprint.

Recommerce IT endeavour to be as accurate as possible with our grading policy. We adopt an open and honest approach with our customers about our products in some cases the severity of a scuff or mark may be interpretated differently from each individual person so in most cases we will err on the side or caution.

With our expertise, skills and know-how, we make sure each device works as well as a new one, allowing you to enjoy fully functional devices without high prices.

Product Grading

All our product grades are covered with a Free 1 Year Warranty

New and Boxed
Brand new manufactured sealed.  

Brand New Open Box
Brand new however the manufacturer seals are broken.  

Refurbished Grade A - Very good second user condition
May have light cosmetic (barely noticeable) scratching/scuffs on lid.
May have some light wear mouse points (i.e., where you rest your wrists).
Working battery (guaranteed to be over 70% health).  

Refurbished Grade B - Good condition, slight scratches and scuffs
May have some cosmetics, but none that affect usability or functionality.
Could have faint scratches on screen however these will not be visible when the screen is on and won't affect use.
May have a slight pressure mark on the screen.
Cosmetic scratches on lid/casing - this isn't impact damage just well used.
Rubber feet maybe missing.
May contain any faults listed in Grade A.
Warranty - Battery Life is NOT guaranteed, they will hold a good charge(battery life will be less on older models).  

Refurbished Grade C - Well Used with Cosmetic Damage/Functional
They may have one or more of the following:-
May have cracks in plastics particularly around hinges.
May have major scuffs or scratches on screen.
May have major pressure marks on the screen.
May have cosmetic damage to keyboard surround.
May have cosmetic damage to screen surround.
May have cosmetic damage to top cover.
May contain any faults listed in Grade B.
Warranty - Battery Life is NOT guaranteed, they will hold a good charge (battery life will be less on older models).

This website is operated by Recommerce IT, by placing an order on www.recommerceit.co.uk you are confirming that you have read and agree to the following terms and conditions:

Please browse the Recommerce IT website to see the products that we have available. If you see anything you like, add it to your basket and, when you’ve chosen what you want, proceed to checkout. All orders placed via the website will be governed by these terms and conditions. You should therefore read these terms carefully before you place your order as they explain your and our legal rights and also contain important information about our contract with you and how your order will be dealt with.

Placing an order

All orders must be placed via the website. You can place an order by adding the product/s that you want to order to your basket, proceed to the checkout and follow the on-screen process. Once you place an order, you will receive an automated email confirming receipt of your order. If you do not receive this within 24 hours of placing your order please check your spam filter. If you are still unable to locate the email please contact us by sending an email to customerservices@recommerceit.co.uk to check that we have received your order.


Once your order has been despatched you will receive a confirmation e-mail from us together with a tracking number. If you do not receive this e-mail within 5 working days of us receiving your cleared funds, please send an e-mail to customerservices@recommerceit.co.uk

  • Our email confirming despatch of your order constitutes acceptance of your offer to buy ("order") and will form a legally binding contract between Recommerce IT and yourself for the sale of the products, governed by these terms.
  • We will only deliver to addresses with a UK Postcode and under no circumstances will we deliver outside of the UK.
  • Delivery Types: Where payment is by credit or debit card we will only deliver to the registered cardholders address.
  • FREE Standard Delivery: Your order will normally be despatched within 3-5 working days (Monday to Friday) of receipt of cleared funds. Please allow up to 10 days for a cheque to clear.
  • If you suspect that your package has been damaged in transit you should reject the goods or sign for the goods as damaged.
  • We cannot be held responsible for failed deliveries; we employ our courier, and they aim to deliver.
  • Claims of goods damaged in transit must be noted at the time of the delivery to the delivery person/signing sheet, and notified to Recommerce IT as soon as possible after delivery by sending an e-mail to customerservices@recommerceit.co.uk
  • We only accept the payment methods as described on our website ‘Payment Terms’.
  • We reserve the right to take payments for the funds prior to despatch of goods; however, we will endeavour to take payment as close to this time as possible.
  • All payments are inclusive of VAT, we are not able to charge excluding VAT prices.
  • All refunds are subject to delay based on your card issuer’s processes; we cannot expedite the time taken for funds to appear on your card.
  • Please note if you make a card (credit or debit) payment that contradicts our T&Cs we cannot expediate your refund once we have processed it in our systems – you will need to contact your card issuer.

Right to Cancel/Returns

  • All cancellations to be confirmed by email to customerservices@recommerceit.co.uk
  • When to cancel: We reserve the right to cancel any order for any reason; in this event you will be contacted via email and where funds have been taken they will be refunded immediately.
  • Consumer customers: you have the right to cancel your order - this period ends on the expiry of the period of fourteen working days beginning with the day after the day on which you received the goods, you are response for the cost of returning any items.
  • Goods purchased for personal use: Refunds will only be made back to the card/payment method originally used.
  • You have the right to change your mind within fourteen working days of receipt of your order as in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act providing you notify us in writing. If you wish to change your mind and return your goods you are responsible for the cost of returning the goods.
  • Refunds will be completed within fourteen calendar days; however, all refunds are completed as quickly as possible.
  • The customer must return all devices, accessories, cables and/or manuals that were provided.
  • Recommerce IT reserve the right at any stage during the order process to cancel and refund an order in full, without explanation.
  • All products and accessories must be returned as sent.
  •  Software cannot be returned once any seal is broken/marked in anyway.

Promotion Codes

  • Promotion Codes may apply to specific time frames/products/order values, please refer to our website for full details.
  • Promotion codes are subject to withdrawal without notice.
  • Only one promotion code can be used in any one transaction, the highest value will be applied.
  • Promotion Codes do not apply to Grade 1/Brand new products unless specifically stated.
  • Clearance products are not subject to any further discounts.
  • Returning customer promotion codes only apply to orders over £100 Inc VAT


  • Product images used on our website are for illustration purposes only. Many of the photographs used are library images and we are therefore not responsible for any colour variances or style update.
  • Retail product images do not guarantee brand new/retail products.


  • The specifications as advertised in product descriptions are as accurate as possible and every effort is made to ensure that information is correct; we will make every effort to ensure that any mistakes are rectified.
  • You are wholly responsible for deciding on the suitability of the goods offered and by placing your order you are acknowledging the goods as being suitable.
  • When purchasing non-new equipment, it is important that you read and understand the grading system and the factors affecting the price of your purchased goods, details can be found on our website under ‘Grading’.

Warranty, Returns & Technical Support 

  • If upon receipt of your item(s) you believe there is a fault, in the first instance please refer to your confirmation of despatch e-mail which indicates what you should do for each of the manufacturer’s products we supply.
  • For Technical Support issues please also follow instructions as above.
  • If you have an item covered by a Recommerce IT warranty then we are unable to accept the return of goods without prior authorisation. Upon authorisation, we will e-mail you with instructions for the return of goods.
  • Item(s) returned without prior authorisation may be refused upon delivery.
  • It is the buyer’s responsibility to ensure any item(s) authorised for return are sufficiently packaged. Where delivery back to Recommerce IT is the responsibility of the buyer, we strongly recommend adequate insurance is in place.
